How to use Chemical Foam Molding in Moldflow Insight!

Did you know that Moldflow Insight can solve Chemical Foam Molding?

You first need to be in a 3D mesh and change the molding process to Chemical Foam Molding.

You can input your molding process conditions like a traditional reactive analysis by entering the mold/melt temperature and curing time.

You can also input how the Velocity/Pressure switchover occurs during molding. You can choose % weight reduction, part weight, ram position, pressure, or pressure control point to transfer from first-stage filling to second-stage packing (or foaming in this case).

Have you ever tried using Chemical Foam Molding in Moldflow Insight?
